Why did you decide to become a virtual assistant? In 2015, I just finished college. While I was in college, I struggle to show up to my classes, missing classes and days. I am surprised that I was not kicked out at some point. I struggled to do a full complete week. However, it was not because I didn’t like my college or my classes, it was because of my anxiety. Despite all the classes that I missed, I managed to graduate with honor. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After college, I tried to keep a regular office management position, still missing days of work. My anxiety was not controlled. I started researching about work from home positions. I found call center positions and I knew that it wasn’t the right fit for me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I started messaging and applying for office positions, asking the companies to give me a chance to work from home. I begged. I sent 1000’s of messages. I was desperate.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Then I found a position that was both working remotely and at the office for meetings. I was able to start my career. A year later, I still struggled to go to the office. I needed to be at the office more and I was not able to, so I was let go.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After that, I took on clients as a freelancer and had some great opportunities and great clients.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That when I decided to launch my business. I do not regret it
